European Association of Child and Adolescent Psychopathology

French-English simultaneous interpreting in booths during the European Congress of the AEPEA.

– European Congress of the AEPEA held in Brussels, co-organised with the Brussels League on Mental Health, attended by 400 Belgian, French and international specialists.

Theme:

In the emergence of thought processes, the body holds a key role because initial psychological processes are anchored in sensory-motor traces, and this occurs before a baby is born. A person’s psyche is born from the transform of sensations into perceptions and then into representations, through the interaction with the mother and the encounter-response between the body and the mother’s psyche.

Services proposed by Colingua Translations:

  • Simultaneous interpreting in English and French
  • Rental and setting up of interpreting equipment: “translators’ booth”, receivers-headsets and sound system for the room (microphones and loudspeakers)
